Carl Filtsch (1830–1845) was a pianist and composer from Mühlbach (now Sebeș), taught by Friedrich Wieck and Frédéric Chopin. This collection gathers our piano editions: the Six Préludes, a first publication based on his sketches, and the lyrical miniature Une Variation in D-flat major.
