Christiane Dehmer – eleven lyrical piano pieces
This series presents the piano pieces from the album Longing (2015) as separate solo editions. The subject is longing in its many forms: calm, hope, dignity, getting up after hard times. The style sits between jazz, pop, neo-classical and ambient — memorable themes, modern harmony, often with chord symbols and room to improvise.
The scores give the piano essence of the recordings — without the album’s synthesizers, with the core of each theme. Intermediate to advanced.
