Roland Kaiser (born 10 May 1952 in West Berlin as Ronald Keiler) is one of Germany’s most successful Schlager singers. He achieved his major breakthrough in 1980 with the hit “Santa Maria”. With further classics such as “Joana”, “Dich zu lieben” and “Midnight Lady”, as well as more than 90 million records sold, he has been one of the defining voices of German Schlager for decades. His songs are particularly well suited for piano, vocals and instrumental arrangements.
